– This is really one of the best translator apps I have seen. It is free and uses the Google translator service in an IM format to instantly translate. Works great!! I highly recommend it!
– There has been a lot of talk about using Netbooks more in education. This article gives three reasons why they wouldn’t be useful. I happen to think those may not apply to education, at least certainly not to younger kids… they are perfect for them.
Processing Speed… they just need one browser at this poing.
Keyboard size… I find younger kids do better with a smaller keyboard.
Screen size… they are just happy to have their own computer.
I still think netbooks will be useful in education.

– Good example of a program that uses both audio and visual queues to teach learners. A bit pricey at $5.99, but I’m glad to see people adding in audio components to book readers!
– This app looks like it has potential for organizing your notes for school on it… Free for the first 10 days!
– Another free scientific program for the iPhone!
– This is a great new program that allows you to mount network drives of your stuff saved online. Works with Google Docs, Picasa Web Album, Windows Life Skydrive and Amazon S3. This would be a great addition for Netbooks!
– Oh, this is just an awesome clip!! It really goes to show how far we have come with technology!! There really is some AMAZING things out there!
Shoot… look at me… sometimes I get grumpy because I want to blog and it takes too long… lately I just write my comments on what I have been reading and BAM… automatically posted each day… that is AWESOME!
