  • IBM: Talking Web Will be Commonplace in 5 Years
  • – As we think about innovation and the future of human computer interaction this is an important idea… great read!

  • Free Software We're Most Thankful For [Thanksgiving]
  • – This is a note of gratitude for good free software… but it is also a great list of some of the best free software out there! Notably missing for me… Jing!! I’m thankful for Jing!

  • Cheapest iPhone and iPod Touch Dictionary Apps [IPhone]
  • – Good analysis of dictionary apps… mobile devices are becoming portals for information more and more every day!

  • The Ebook Market: Some Rough Math
  • – Some great stats about ebooks and how much they have grown in recent years (takes into account eReading applications on the iPhone). This is really an important arena for those in higher education. I believe it is only a matter of time before students start demanding electronic books. They’re cheaper, they’re searchable, they’re mobile, and they’re even getting annotatable (is that a word… it will be one day)! Keep an eye on this one!

Nogle store stats om ebøger og hvor meget de er vokset i de seneste år (tager hensyn til eReading ansøgninger om iPhone). Dette er virkelig en vigtig arena for dem i de videregående uddannelser.
