– This is a note of gratitude for good free software… but it is also a great list of some of the best free software out there! Notably missing for me… Jing!! I’m thankful for Jing!
– Good analysis of dictionary apps… mobile devices are becoming portals for information more and more every day!
– Some great stats about ebooks and how much they have grown in recent years (takes into account eReading applications on the iPhone). This is really an important arena for those in higher education. I believe it is only a matter of time before students start demanding electronic books. They’re cheaper, they’re searchable, they’re mobile, and they’re even getting annotatable (is that a word… it will be one day)! Keep an eye on this one!
