– This is really, REALLY one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time! As if the multitouch Microsoft Surface type interface WITHOUT the interface isn’t enough, this really changes the way we interact with the world around us and brings it together like I have never seen before!

– I am constantly amazed at how the iPhone and its ubiquitous computing, GPS, gadgets, photo and video, have totally changed the computing paradigm. Developers are constantly figuring out new and amazing things you can do with the phone… here is another great example!! Who thinks these things up?

– Ooh.. that is nice… we have Panopto here on campus but have issues with finding enough space… I wonder if it will then use the blackboard space instead of the dedicated Panopto server… that would be nice.

– Really interesting article about the convergence of real life with virtual life and social networks… I think its both cool and scary. As long as those privacy settings are build in, I’m cool with it… and I can’t imagine they won’t be.

– Alja makes some great points here about the need for longer lasting workshops that help people implement new ideas over a longer period. I find this especially true with faculty members trying to adopt a new technology. They need many sessions to figure out how to use it and all the features.. and support along the way…

– This really goes to show the power of social media… I also think the jump in contributions has something to do with more of the older generation joining facebook. When someone they know invites them to a cause and they ACTUALLY have money (unlike students) stuff happens.
